There's so much I could tell you, but hopefully this has given some insight. And remember if you must suicide, exchange your life with an enemy or else the team effort is down one tank. If you absolutely must charge forth in the LoS of half a dozen players, do it with a group. Only reveal yourself to one tank at a time. When you rush forth, don't stop in front of an opening. If you are neither, you should be near the frontlines, playing the objective. And camping is primarily the role of a TD or a medium/heavy tank with good penetrating rounds. You'll get minimal points for doing so and you'll most likely get pwned by another player who aims better than you. Camp in meaningful camping locations, not at the spawn. Good players know how to be 'in the right place at the right time'.

You can mess up a KV-2 real bad if you catch him off guard, being his reload rate taking forever. For the KVs, aim for the back or near the rear of the turret. Avoid hitting sloped armor and abuse any other spot worth your shot i.e. The T-34 and KV-1and2 are understandably as busted in WT as they were irl. However, aim for the lower part of the front for a reliable penetrating round, and the sides of the turret and/or the ammo on the sides can clear out the rest of the tank. It gets some favorable matchmaking in the earlier models and the M4A3E8 is, somehow, able to penetrate things it could not have penetrated reliably irl. This is assuming you are able to hide your side armor from him via a rock, wall, etc.) Avoid getting hit in your viewport especially., and angle your armor at every moment, (turn your front at ~45 degrees from your opponent so that he'll be more likely to bounce your front armor. III/IV have pretty awesome guns and solid armor EXCEPT for the small front flat part that 90% of all competent players will aim for. Know you're tank it's strong points and its weaknesses. But even they provide some good information/insight on War Thunder Ground Forces. I'm subscribed to PhlyDaily and BaronVonGames since they're funny people overall. Go on Youtube and find WT Youtubers you may like and they're usually covering a bit on Ground Forces and trying out different tanks.

I WOULD say 'git gud', but who wants to listen to rants? Jk, I know you'll love this wall of text.
